Each unit hit by Pit of Malice gains a Unique Modifier that makes them be rooted again in an interval of 3.6 seconds. Under's excels at long fights because of Atrophy Aura, disrupting the enemy's backline or initiation due to Firestorm and Pit of Malice and counterpushing with Dark Rift, but this comes at the cost of low mana pool, few defensive abilities and low armor. Why Underlord? Pit Lord is a solid pick on Normal or Ranked games however, he's heavily dependent on enemy matchup and team composition.
