Windows is showing that its connected to the internet, the icon in the tasktray shows internet access, but still cannot access anything. I waited a while then noticed my phone and Smart TV's still had internet access via WIFI (same router), while the desktop did not. Internet access on my desktop, which is connected via ethernet, suddenly stopped working, so I assumed my ISP was having some downtime.
